  • 10% of net interchange revenue supports the William ʻBillʼ Benn Student Success Fund.
  • 10% of ATM revenue at our on-campus ATM will also support the William ʻBillʼ Benn Student Success Fund.
The William “Bill” Benn fund is an essential resource for students impacted by economic hardship while receiving an education. The fund is named after a former WVU Tech student who studied civil engineering in the 1960’s before being forced to leave college for financial reasons. Benn intended to return to WVU Tech but was drafted and enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. Benn was killed in action during his tour in Vietnam on June 6, 1969. The fund honors Benn’s legacy of sacrifice and respect for education by helping current students who find themselves in similar situations.

We believe this is "Communiversity" at its best, and a way the entire community can financially support and promote WVU Tech by simply using this co-branded Affinity Debit Card for their day-to-day purchases. Please, visit our Beckley, Mount Hope, or Oak Hill Financial Center to get your card today!
