Allegheny Bancshares, Inc., the Parent Company of PCB, Welcomes Dr. T. Ramon Stuart to Board of Directors

PCB is excited to announce the addition of Dr. T. Ramon Stuart to the organization’s Board of Directors.

Dr. Stuart will be an asset to the Board, bringing his expertise and extensive experience in higher education and strategic institutional growth as well as his passion for community involvement. His focus on strengthening collaboration among academic institutions, local organizations, and the surrounding communities aligns well with PCB’s mission and corporate values.  

“I am extremely excited to have Dr. Stuart join the Allegheny and Pendleton Community Bank Board of Directors,” said William A. Loving, CEO. “From the first time I met him, I knew that his heart was about the community, and this is exactly what PCB stands for. I look forward to working with Dr. Stuart as we continue to build out the southern region of West Virginia.” 

Dr. Stuart is originally from PCB’s southern region of West Virginia, growing up in McDowell County. This is where he learned about life and the transformative impact of education, and he is dedicated to helping others realize their dreams. Dr. Stuart currently serves as the President of WVU Institute of Technology.  

A champion for students and of servant leadership, Dr. Stuart has led various campus initiatives to improve retention and provide support for students so they can be successful during their time on campus and beyond. He has led enrollment and retention initiatives, including mentorship and success coach programs, and expanding tutoring services. He has broad knowledge and experience in student success and support, academics, fundraising, community collaboration, and overall institutional growth. 

In addition to his commitment to students and academics, Dr. Stuart is passionate about community engagement. From collaborative multi-million-dollar projects with local hospitals and military bases to enhance opportunities in the community to working with other institutions to expand educational access, he values creating and fostering partnerships. He and his wife Jamilah, a graduate of Howard University with an MBA from the University of New Haven, are the proud parents of their daughter, Kayleigh Grace Stuart, and fur baby Skye.
