At PCB, we value financial and educational growth within our communities. Partnering with WVU Tech through Communiversity has allowed us to amplify our involvement and support of intentional growth and increased access to services and products through technology within the Beckley-Raleigh County community in West Virginia.
What is Communiversity?
WVU Tech is indistinguishable from Beckley, and Beckley is synonymous with WVU Tech.
When WVU Tech and the entire community are united in the mission to support learning and discovery, together, we're all better. This is the premise of Communiversity, a concept launched by WVU Tech President, T. Ramon Stuart, in early 2023.
Side by side, we are architects of positive change, and PCB was excited to become a partner in Communiversity. Through collaboration with community partners, WVU Tech is not just addressing the challenges of their Communiversity; they are solving them. Unity is the driving force behind the commitment to enhancing the lives of all those who call our community home.
How is PCB involved in Communiversity?
There are many commonalities between PCB and WVU Tech: small but mighty organizations with similar size teams who provide high touch support. Both organizations have interest in providing improved access to services/products through technology and are working to expand their presence in West Virginia through intentional growth. Through this collaboration, PCB is promoted as the Premier Communiversity Partner for a variety of campus and community events including Homecoming, Monty's Cub Club, career and professional development activities for employees and students, WVU Tech Athletics and various campus traditions events. PCB also is a proud partner of the Tech Ambassador program.
What is Monty's Cub Club?
Monty's Cub Club is an initiative on the WVU Tech campus geared toward students 16 years-of-age and younger. Program membership is entirely free and gives members exclusive access to perks and experiences at WVU Tech! Some of these benefits include:
- Monty's Cub Club members receive free admission to any WVU Tech home event.
- Monty's Cub Club members can be part of Cub Club theme nights at select games.
- Monty's Cub Club members are eligible for a growing catalogue of perks (more to come as membership grows).
How is PCB involved with Cub Club?
PCB is a proud sponsor and offers a Cub Club account, an exciting savings product designed for students under 18! This account makes saving fun and educational, teaching the value of financial foresight. Benefits include:
