Positive Pay

Positive Pay is a fraud prevention tool that allows you to monitor checks posting to your account(s). Positive Pay matches your issued check information to checks that are clearing your account. If a check being presented for payment does not match, then you can choose to pay or to return the check.

 

You upload a file to PCB that contains your issued check information. As checks are presented for payment, PCB compares the uploaded check information to checks clearing your account. If the check information does not match, the check is flagged for further review and you decide to either pay or return the check.

PCB's Positive Pay service provides a comprehensive solution to help protect businesses from check fraud.

 

To access our Positive Pay Service, you must enroll in online banking. Contact a PCB representative if you need help with the enrollment process.

 

You upload a file to PCB that lists your issued checks and then Positive Pay matches the uploaded list of your issued checks to checks being presented for payment. If there is a check presented for payment that was not included in the uploaded list, the item is presented to you for further review.

 

The monthly fee for the service will be waived if the tiered qualifications for the commercial banking bundle are met.
